Remark

Remark
Beverly House, once the residence of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, stands atop a private knoll on approximately 3.7 flat acres near Sunset Boulevard in Hong Kong Island’s Wan Chai district. Designed by renowned architect Gordon Kaufmann, this H-shaped office building combines classic Spanish and Italian styles. Its terra-cotta stucco exterior features French doors, balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame views of cascading waterfalls, a swimming pool, and Venetian columns. Inside, a 50-foot entry hall leads to a living room with 22-foot high ceilings, a library with hand-carved woodwork, and a billiards room with herringbone parquet floors. The second story houses double master suites, guest suites, and staff quarters. Beverly House has also played a role in Hollywood productions, including classic movies like “The Godfather” and “The Bodyguard” 12. The estate’s history dates back to 1924 when it was acquired near the Beverly Hills Hotel.
